Custom Movement Music Boxes
There’s an old-world charm to music boxes that has never gone away. It’s the ideal gift for someone when you want to use a song or melody to mark a meaningful occasion. At Music Box Attic, we let you create your own custom mechanical music box. Its mechanism includes a steel comb that picks at a revolving cylinder to create a tune.
This is the traditional version of a music box: beautifully crafted, and an heirloom you can proudly showcase. You can also personalize this gift with a standard or custom tune and a custom engraving.
We guarantee 100% satisfaction with our products. With such a delicate and unique one-of-a-kind creation, you always get to hear the song arrangement before final approving and having the song and movement produced.
Choosing the Right Tune
The best part about a custom movement music box is being able to use a tune that means something special to the recipient. It could be something as simple as a birthday song, a childhood melody, or even a wedding song. At Music Box Attic, we let you choose between adding a standard tune and a custom tune.
Standard Tune
The standard mechanisms we carry support 18, 23, 30, 36, 50, 72, and 144 note movements. Depending on the movement you pick, you can select any standard song from our listening library for your music box. There are hundreds of song choices available to you, suitable for a range of occasions.
Custom Tune
If there is a particular song that really makes the gift special for you, you can send it to us and we can have the mechanism of your custom music box created to play that song in a wind-up mechanical movement. As with anything meaningful, this takes a little extra time to create and costs more to produce. Talk to one of our sales reps so that we can work with you to make it happen.
